The Portville High School Counseling Department is proactive and preventative in nature and is committed to meeting the needs of all students.

We strive to provide quality guidance and counseling services to assist students in their social, emotional, academic, and career development. We ensure that students have access to the tools and materials necessary to achieve their goals. Both of these enable students to reach their full potential as responsible and productive citizens in a very diverse and ever-changing society.

Our school counselors work collaboratively with parents, teachers, administrators, and students by focusing on the developmental needs of the student body while facilitating the partnership of school, home, and community.
