Elementary School Outside the School Day Programs
Portville Central School has recently received “Outside the School Day” Federal funding for the remainder off this school year and for the 2023/24 school year. The purpose of this funding is to offer engaging activities for students outside of the traditional school day including afternoons, evenings and summers.
Our plan is to develop an activity calendar for each month where elementary families can register their children through an on-line form each month, which will be posted to our District Facebook and live feed pages. You will also find the links to the activity registration forms listed on this page.
I am listing a few items here that we learned through the February and March registration process. Please adhere to the following:
List your accurate email addresses and contact information.
You should not register your child more than once.
No late registrations will be accepted.
Students will only be registered for one program in order to include as many as possible.
If your child needs bussing, it will be imperative that someone is home for our PreK through 3rd grade students to be dropped off. We can’t leave this age group off the bus until an adult is seen by the driver. Pick up Patrol will also not be available for changes in transportation for the after school program.
We will try to honor all requests, however, due to the limitations of our group sizes, it may not be possible for all students to be accepted in any given month.
Each activity is limited to a number of students and it will be first come, first served.
