Juniors & Seniors:  Prom tickets are on sale.  The price is $50 per ticket.  Stop in to see Mrs. Pascucci or get your tickets during lunch at the cafeteria. 

 

If you are interested in flying the new racing drones, you can sign up in the envisioneering center. There are only 6 drones available so sign up today. We will be flying them on Tuesday April 25th from 2:45-4:45.

Congratulations to the JV girls softball team on their win last evening over Salamanca. In the circle, 8th grader Ella Warters struck out 10 in 4 innings of work and 7th grader Megan Wenke closed the game with 3 strikeouts.  Warters and Abby Phearsdorf each had a hit, while Lauren Lyle, Emily Collins, and Ayana Degolier each scored 4 runs for the lady panthers. Great job ladies!!!   

 

The Portville Lady Panthers opened league play tonight with a 14-2 victory over Franklinville. ”Golden Glove” Alisha Dickerson was the winning pitcher tossing 7 strikeouts, 3 walks, and scattering only 2 hits. Portville’s offensive attack was led by “Queen of the Plate” Sam Steadman who went 2 for 4, with a home-run, a double, 5 RBI’s, and 2 runs scored. Teagan Kosinski chipped in with a home-run, a single, 3 runs scored, 1 RBI, and 2 stolen bases. Alisha Dickerson added a home-run, 3 RBI’s, and 1 run scored to help the Panthers cause. Portville next travels to Ellicottville today for a CCAA Divisional matchup. Game time is 5:00pm. GO PANTHERS!!


Last night the varsity baseball team opened their season with a 3 to 1 win over Silver Creek. POG Ethan Obergfell led the way with two hits, and driving in all three runs, 2 coming via his first career home run. Aidan Defazio scored twice for Portville. Luke Petryszak got the win, going five innings, striking out 12 and allowing one hit. Karsen Padlo slammed the door in the 6th and 7th, striking out two. The Panthers head to Allegany Friday to defend their Allegany-Limestone tournament title against Bradford at 5 pm.


Congratulations to both the Boys and Girls Varsity Track teams on their opening season wins against Cattaraugus Little Valley and West Valley. Top scorers include the following: Darren Spring, David Brown, Kyle North, Parker Dornan, Michael Fahnestock, Paul Vos, Simon Szymanski, Riley Horsley, Ben Isaman, Bryan Randolph, Chris Austin, Kent Little, Aryanna Hatch, Olivia Dean, Anna Keeley, Jenna Wyant, Jessica Daley, Airiana Whittaker, Samantha Bray, Hailey Edwards, Allison Bray, Ava Haynes, Natalie Isaman, Julia Wyant, Emma Rhinehart, Addison Isaman, Gianna Aloi, Alana Petersen, and Hali Brundage. The teams will compete at the Olean Invitational this Saturday in Olean. Good Luck to both!
