Applications are now available for our PCS Summer recreation program. The program is scheduled to operate from July 10th -August 10th. Applicants should be at least 16 years of age and may require life guard certification. Applications can be picked up and should be dropped off in the elementary office no later than May 12th .
Did you know that The Super Mario Bros. Movie is the first billion-dollar-plus film of 2023. Don't miss the opportunity to see it on Friday, May 12th. The bus leaves from school at 3:00PM; a drink and a popcorn are included. Sign-up and grab a permission slip from Mr. Steighner.
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: an after-school trip to Urban Air Adventure Park. There are trampolines, a warrior course, and battle beams- also enjoy laser tag, spin zone bumper cars, a ropes course and more! The date is Monday, 5/15; the bus will leave from school at 2:45PM. Pizza and a drink will be provided. Sign up with Mr. Mitchell and pick up a permission slip & waiver!
Reminder that Portville will be taking students to a Buffalo Bison’s game on Friday, June 2nd. You can enjoy some food, Baseball, and fireworks. Please sign up outside of Mrs Morella’s room, 201, by May 19th and return the permission slip as soon as possible.

NOW FOR YOUR PCS SPRING SPORTS NEWS:
The Portville Lady Panthers battled the elements again last night and came out on top of a 8 to 4 decision over Franklinville. Alisha Dickerson was the winning pitcher tossing 8 strikeouts, 5 walks, and scattering 7 hits. Mattison Foster earned “Golden Glove” status for another impressive performance behind the plate picking off multiple base runners. Leading the offensive firepower for Portville was “Queen of the Plate” Bella Morales who went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, a single, 2 runs, and a RBI. Peyton Young chipped in going 2 for 4, with a double, a single, 2 runs scored, and a stolen base, while Alisha Dickerson added 2 runs, an RBI, and a stolen base to help the Panthers cause. Portville next travels to North Collins on Wednesday to resume league action. Game time is 5:00pm. GO PANTHERS!!
