Attention Juniors:  Don’t forget you are having your Senior photos taken today and tomorrow in the Work Out Room. Please read through the paperwork Mrs. Welty mailed home.  See her if you have any questions.  There is a schedule posted outside the main office.

 

Reminder to SENIOR BOCES Students…   Unless you have a pass to stay at BOCES, you will be picked up early tomorrow at 12:50 for the DUI Program and early on Friday at 1:40 for the Pep Rally.

 

Culinary Club is meeting this coming Monday, May 22nd. On the plate will be a Cinco de Mayo celebration. You don’t want to miss this one. Sign up today!

 

Tomorrow’s Spirit Theme is POOL DAY  –Dress in Pool Floaties, goggles, Hawaiian Shirts, etc.  ….As always, students must follow the school dress code. 

 

Another after school program is a trip to Miller’s Market on May 24th.  Come with us to make your very own herb and lettuce garden.  Each participant will receive and arrange their own compostable garden box with your choice of herbs and lettuce plantings.  Sign up outside the main office.

 

Reminder that Portville will be taking students to a Buffalo Bison’s game on Friday, June 2nd.  You can enjoy some food, Baseball, and fireworks. Please sign up outside of Mrs Morella’s room, 201, by May 19th and return the permission slip as soon as possible.

 

Now for our PCS Spring Sports News:

Any boys in grades 8-11 that are interested in playing Boys Volleyball next Winter season there will be a short interest meeting this Friday May 19th  right after school in the lecture hall.  If you cannot attend please let Mrs. Colligan know.  We need accurate numbers of who will be interested in playing. 

 

Any girls in grades 7-11 that are interested in participating in Football cheer, please sign up by Mrs. Colligan's office. 

 

Last evening the Varsity Track and Field team traveled to Gowanda, the girls won 77-53 and boys lost 65-63. Top scorers included: Chris Austin, Bryan Randolph, Riley Horsley, Michael Fahnestock, Simon Szymanski, Ben Isaman, Brady German, Darren Spring, David Brown, Paul Vos, Gianna Aloi, Olivia Dean, Ava Haynes, Addison Isaman, Natalie Isaman, Samantha Bray, Airiana Whittaker, Julia Wyant, Jenna Wyant, Jessica Daley, Aryanna Hatch, Allison Bray, Natalie Maurer, Emma Rhinehart, Alana Petersen, and Hali Brundage. The teams will travel to Falconer on Friday and Saturday to compete at the County meet.
