Any girls in grades 9th through 12th interested in playing in the Powder Puff football game on Monday night, please sign up on the bulletin board outside Mrs Welty's room. The Junior vs Senior game is at 7PM and the Freshmen vs Sophomore game will begin afterwards. Please come to the game and show support during Homecoming Week!
There's no school on Friday, Oct. 6th , and we've planned a very cool adventure for 7-12 students. We're headed to Watkins Glen State Park to see the gorge & the falls, and then have lunch; after that, we'll head over to the Watkins Glen International Racetrack to preview some race car activity on the track! See Mr. Mitchell to sign-up and don't forget your permission slip.
Attention 7-12 students: Would you like to explore America's ONLY underwater cavern; defeat Miner's Maze; and tour a Wildlife Park? We'll be traveling to PENN's Cave and Wildlife Park on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023. See Mr. Mitchell to sign up.
Any students in grades 7th through 12th wishing to be a member of the Student Council, applications are available in the office. They are due back to Mrs. Welty by Wednesday, September 27th.
The Homecoming theme this year is “FLORAL FANTASY”. The dance will take place on Saturday, September 30th from 8 to 11PM. Presale tickets will be sold until Thursday the 28th. Cost is $12 per person and can be purchased from Mrs. Welty BEFORE or AFTER school and during PERIOD X. Prices will increase to $15 per person if bought at the door. This is a semi-formal dance so proper attire is required….NO JEANS and NO HATS.
On Friday during the pep rally the Homecoming Court will be announced. Those students will be required to ride in the parade at 5PM. At half-time of the football game, the 2023 King & Queen will be revealed.
Some important notes regarding Homecoming:
#1: If you intend on bringing someone from a different school, you must get a permission slip from the office for them to sign and return it to Mrs. Welty before Friday the 29th.
#2: If you would like to bring a student that has already graduated high school, they must be a graduate of PCS.
The Spirit Week Wear for Monday is: . MONDAY: Marvel Monday….Do you have Super-hero powers?....Dress like your favorite Marvel character, - Remember to follow the dress code.

Today is the last day to sign up for The Academic Club…… SIGN UPS are in the main office, Practices are held weekly on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Late bus transportation will be available if needed… AGAIN – SIGN UP ENDS TODAY.
The boys varsity soccer team suffered a tough loss on a close game with Randolph last night. After trailing early the boys bounced back with a goal from Brandon Carter. Then we took the lead when Brady German found his brother, Colin, left alone in front of the goal to put the Panthers ahead. Unfortunately, Randolph responded with a couple of late goals to snatch the victory. Come support the boys next week as they have three home games...Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Varsity volleyball defeated Dunkirk last night.

Ava Haynes had 8 kills, 4 aces
Adelyn Walker ran the offense with 22 assists while Mia Rhinehart had 14 aces
Emily Jordan 8 aces and Ali Haynes 4 kills. Max Prep player of the match Lillian Bentley had 14 kills, & 10 aces.
The team, Now 6 & 1 will head to Our Lady of Mercy in Rochester tonight for a 6:30 start time.
The JV volleyball team defeated Dunkirk last night 25-13, 25-12,25-10 Marissa Carls led the offense with 17 assists and 5 aces, Ana Haynes 5 kills, 3 aces, Leigha Stives and Gaitley Maiolo each had 4 kills, and Gracelyn Maiolo 11 aces for the panthers who travel today to our Lady of Mercy in Rochester.
The girls swim team won their second meet in a row beating Salamanca 121-70. The team won 11 of 12 events. Molly Marshal led the way winning the 100 fly and 100 backstroke. Emmalie Gehm won the 200 free and was 2nd in the 100 free. Toni Travis and Kyliegh Putt posted season best performances.
