Any junior signed up for the PSAT, please meet in room 146 today during Period X. You will be logging in to the PSAT site for access for the test.
The Student Council will have a meeting TODAY in the library during Period X. The main goal will be the selection of Spirit Week themes. Please come to the meeting with ideas and with a writing utensil.
All junior members of the Academic Club will meet after school tomorrow in room 306, Mr. Rogers’ room, downstairs in the elementary building.

Attention grades 7-12, IT’S BACK!!! They are back in the saddle again and inviting you to come back for more!!! Mr. Franzen and Mr. Mitchell will be hosting a monthly Culinary Club meeting to sharpen your skills in the kitchen and beyond!!! Sign-up today outside Mr. Mitchell’s room. Our first meeting is next Wednesday from 2:45 – 4:30 you will need your own transportation for pick-up afterward.
Homecoming tickets are on sale this week and until Thursday, October 10th of next week. Tickets can be purchased in Mrs. Welty’s room before school, after school, or during lunch periods. Cost is $12 per person if you purchase by the 10th. At the dance, the price increases to $15. The dance will take place in the High School Gym from 8PM to 11PM with the theme, “Golden Hour”.
REMINDER TO Juniors and Seniors interested in attending the Alfred State College field trip, please sign up outside your English or History classes. Deadline to sign up is October 7th. See Mrs. Pascucci with any questions.
Another reminder to juniors and seniors: If you are interested in taking the ASVAB on October 22, please sign up in the guidance office on or before October 7, 2024. The test is free.

There will be ghouls, ghastly creatures, tortured souls, the near dead, the un-dead, creepy circus freaks, witches, ghosts galore and so much more! Enjoy the approximately 20-minute show from the comfort of a cushioned seat in the Auditorium - no long lines to wait in this year! You pick the show time that works best for you and then purchase your $3.00 tickets online using the QR code on the posters that are throughout the building or stop in Mrs. Maxson’s room 120 before or after school or during lunch times. Caramel apples will be back this year and you can also enjoy the Trunk or Treat Event in the bus circle. Beware – we aim to scare! Happy Hallowscream!

NOW FOR YOUR PCS SPORTS NEWS: The modified volleyball team improved their record to 8-0 last night with a win over Salamanca. It was a great win and everyone contibuted.. Nice job ladies. The Panther Varsity Volleyball team defeated Fredonia last night 25-7, 25-14, 25-13 Ali Haynes led the team with 14 kills, Mia Rhinehart 7 aces and 11 digs, 4 assists, Adriana Ensell added 5 kills, 5 aces, 12 digs while Adelyn Walker ran the offense with 30 assists and 4 aces. Player of the match Leigha Stives finished the evening with a .571 hitting percent. Great team effort!
The Panthers will host the Huskies of Olean on Thursday for their Pink Out match. Please come support the pink pumpkin project as well as your lady panthers. 6:30 start time.
