The Student Council meeting that was originally scheduled for today has been cancelled. Mrs. Welty forgot that the Seniors are out of the building and we don’t want to meet without them. Please make sure you read her message on TEAMS and respond with any ideas there. We will meet on Monday during Period X to make our selections.
For any junior interested in taking the PSAT, sign-ups are being held in the guidance office between now and Oct 7th. In order to sign up, you will need $18 (exact amount in cash or check).
If you are interested in participating in an after school book club once or twice a month, please add your name to the sign up sheets outside the main office or Mrs. Maxson’s room. More info will follow if there is enough interest!
The Western New York College Consortium will be at Portville Central School TOMORROW. The presentation will be held in the John Dubot’s Room and will begin at 11:00 AM. Please be prompt. All interested juniors and seniors are welcome to attend.
Last night the girls varsity soccer team improved to 5 and 2, defeating Pine Valley/Gowanda 10 to 0. Minion winner Teagan Kosinski was a Swiss Army knife, registering a goal, an assist, and a save in net to combine with Mackenzie Harmon and Courtney Whippo on the shutout. Meghan Lyle had two goals and two assists, Olivia Dean and Grace Gariepy scored twice, Allison Smith had a goal and an assist, and Leah Wyant and Jessica Daley rounded out the scoring for Portville. The Panthers host Salamanca tomorrow at 4:30.
