The Student Council, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 8th in the North Gym from 8AM until 2PM. Any student age 16 and older is eligible to donate. Information and questions can be answered by Mrs. Welty. Also, see her to sign up. Our PCS goal is to have 40 people donate that day. Please consider doing a small deed that can save three lives!
Attention all students and teachers: it's November which means it's time for the NHS canned food drive. Please bring in your donation of non-perishable food items to teachers' classrooms from now until Friday November 18. Every item helps a family in need. The Portville food pantry relies heavily on donations from this food drive to help our neighbors. Thank you for your support.
Ice skating Sign ups continue…you must sign up outside Miss Giardini's room to go ice skating after school on Thursday, November 10th, from 3:00-5:15PM. You'll need to return a signed permission slip to attend! Don't delay-sign up today!
Reminder to students – sign ups for the Spectator Bus going to the Boys Soccer Far West Regional Game are in the main office. We need 13 more people to sign up on this list in able to take a bus!
There will be open gyms for boys basketball grades 7-12 on Monday the 7th from 4:00-5:30 and Saturday the 12th from 6pm-8pm.
Don’t forget that tomorrow and Sunday is the huge Arts, Crafts and Antique show here at PCS. There is 100 vendors spread out in the high school gym, classrooms, and halls and there will be a great variety of food to eat both days. Hope to see you here for this fundraiser that benefits students!
The Portville volleyball team won the section C-2 Championship last night against Allegany-Limestone.

Tori Unverdorben led the team with 16 kills, 16 digs, 2 aces , Ava Haynes 15 kills, 12 digs, Lillian Bentley 9 kills, 2aces,
Mia Rhinehart 9 aces, 8 aces,
Sam Steadman 4 kills
And Jillian Stebbins ran the offense with 39 assists, 2 aces.
The ladies will travel to Southwestern on Monday to play Eden.
