Wow! PCS’s Shayla Wilhelm, accompanied by Physics teacher, Mr. Stives, is at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona this week! This prestigious competition is attended by the best high school science and engineering students in the world! Close to 1,900 students from 80 countries are there. And to top off this incredible week, she was one of 3 students awarded with a full scholarship to Florida Tech today! We are just beyond proud of you, Shayla! Portville Central School is so lucky to have teachers like Bob Stives and students like Shayla Wilhelm!

These girls have had a great season! They have improved their skills, technique, confidence, and perseverance. We couldn’t be more proud of them as athletes and the special bond they have formed! It is such an honor just to qualify to States! These girls were up against very tough competition but the both had personal gains and finished strong.
💜Kendra Niver had a beautiful beam routine placing 5th with a 9.15 along with an 8.85 on floor.
💜Brielle showed improvement on all 4 events and earned an 8.525 on beam and 8.975 on floor!”
